Job summary

Pioneer Selection is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer for a busy manufacturing facility in Knowsley, Liverpool. You will carry out planned preventative, reactive and breakdown maintenance across a wide range of equipment, including injection moulding machines and robotics, to maximise uptime and efficiency.

The role offers a strong training budget, development through qualifications (including electrical training) and potential travel to Spain for specialist courses.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across the factory.
• Perform reactive and breakdown maintenance to maximise uptime.
• Maintain and service equipment including injection moulding machines, robots, pumps and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

Rotating 4-week shift pattern - Week 1 & 2: 6am-2pm / Week 3: Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am / Week 4: Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm

Job Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturing business with a busy, high-volume production facility, producing around 2000 units per day. The company is committed to investing in its engineers, with a strong training budget and opportunities to develop your skills through further qualifications, including Level 4 Injection Moulding courses and electrical training. There may also be opportunities to travel to Spain for specialist training. You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative, reactive and breakdown maintenance across the factory, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency. You will work on a wide range of equipment including injection moulding machines, robots, vacuum pumps and systems, granulators, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as the wider factory facilities. The role will suit a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical bias, looking for a hands-on position with excellent opportunities to develop technically.
