Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Technician with an electrical bias to join a national medical manufacturing group. You will become an expert in injection moulding, PLCs and automation, delivering breakdown, service and PPM with a strong emphasis on training and career progression.

The role is on an early/late shift rotation (no nights) and offers a structured path to technical leadership across multiple sites in the UK.

Qualifications

• Electrical bias and hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing settings.
• Willingness to work early/late shifts with no nights.
• Experience with automation, robotics or injection moulding machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service machinery, including injection moulding and automation equipment.
• Carry out breakdown, preventive and corrective maintenance (PPM) on PLC-controlled systems.
• Support continuous improvement and training to enhance technical leadership.

Commutable from Worksop, Langold, Retford, Dinnington, Anston, Sheffield, Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Gainsborough, Lincoln, and surrounding areas

Earlies and Late Shift Rotation: 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm

Are you a Maintenance Technician with an Electrical background looking to join a national manufacturer who will invest fantastic training for you to become an expert in Injection Moulding maintenance and medical manufacturing machines, solidifying your expertise as a technical leader and taking steps to progress your career?

On offer is a highly specialised role working within the medical sector, where you will become an expert in areas such as injection mouldings and PLCs, and build a meaningful long term career with an established national organisation.

This company are a leading manufacturer who have sites across the UK. They have recently invested over £2 million in overhauling their automation equipment, opening new sites and making exciting acquisitions. Due to continued growth they are looking for a keen maintenance engineer to join their team.

On offer is a specialist role with great training, where you carry out breakdown, service and PPM to a wide range of equipment, from automation, robotics, and injection moulding machines. The role is working on a early and lates shift rotation with no nights: Week 1: 6m-2pm, Week 2: 2pm - 10pm.

This role would suit someone from a Maintenance background who has some level of electrical knowledge and is looking to grow your skills further.

The Role:

• Monday - Friday, 37.5 hour week - earlies and lates shift rotation: Week 1: 6am-2pm, Week 2: 2pm - 10pm
• Maintenance and breakdown of machinery
• Injection moulding, automation and manufacturing machinery
