Nicholas Associates is seeking a site-based Maintenance Engineer near Leicester Forest East to maintain and repair automated production line machinery within modern facilities.

We welcome both mechanical and electrical engineers; you will join a team focused on keeping production running smoothly. This role offers a starting salary of £52,000 with yearly increases, overtime, and 4 On 4 Off shifts (6-6, days & nights).

Competenze

• Maintaining automated plant machinery across production lines.
• Ability to provide technical support on projects and breakdowns.
• Desirable: time-served apprenticeship or above.

Mansioni

• Maintain, service and repair automated plant machinery to minimise downtime.
• Provide technical support on projects, installations and breakdowns.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs).

Job Title: Maintenance EngineerOverview:

Working in modern, purpose built (clean and warm) manufacturing facilities we now require a site-based Maintenance Engineer to join the team. Both mechanical and electrical engineers considered.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

• To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
• Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
• PPM'sThe ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
• Time served apprentice trained or above
• Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar
• An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications (Electrical training can be given - the company provide electrical courses offsite)Commutable from:
• Mountsorrel, Barrow upon Soar, Loughborough, Rothley, Leicester and surrounding areas.
