Job summary

Industrial Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our busy maintenance department. You will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on production equipment, ensuring safe, efficient operation and high equipment reliability.

You'll diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, support new machinery installations, maintain accurate CMMS records, and work with the engineering team to minimise downtime and drive continuous improvement. Shift patterns available.

Qualifications

• Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent).
• Multi-skilled with electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

We are seeking experienced Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineers to join our busy maintenance department. You'll play a key role in ensuring our production equipment and facilities operate safely and efficiently by carrying out both planned preventive maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent).
• Multi‑skilled with both electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
• Previous experience within a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

• PLC fault‑finding experience.
• Knowledge of conveyors, motors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated equipment.
• 18th Edition electrical qualification.
• Welding or fabrication experience.
