Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group is recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer / Production Engineer for a leading UK manufacturer in Ledbury. You will coordinate electrical and mechanical maintenance on production lines, ensuring safety and quality standards are met while supporting continuous improvement and reliability.

The role involves hands-on fault finding, diagnostics and planned maintenance to reduce costs and boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical engineering skills for production environments.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Experience with touch screen controls on machinery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage electrical and mechanical maintenance for production lines and site areas, upholding safety and quality standards.
• Fault finding, diagnostics and planned maintenance to improve uptime.
• Develop practices that reduce costs and losses while improving efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• To coordinate and manage electrical and mechanical maintenance for production lines and site areas ensuring Safety and Quality Standards are maintained and strengthened where possible.
• Responsible for fault finding, diagnostics and planned maintenance.
• To build a way of thinking that continuously promotes practices to reduce costs and losses whilst improving efficiency of work.
