Job summary

TipTopJob is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer in Kidderminster to install, maintain and repair manufacturing machinery. You will fault find, calibrate and service equipment to keep production downtime to a minimum, and provide technical support to the production and engineering teams.

You will fault find PLCs, work from electrical/drawings (electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems) and support routine machine installations and general facilities maintenance under a PPM schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance engineering in manufacturing environments.
• Able to fault find and repair PLCs.
• Capable of working to electrical and pneumatic drawings.
• Experience following a preventive maintenance (PPM) schedule.

Responsibilities

• Fault find, repair and calibrate production machinery.
• Ensure that production downtime is kept to a minimum.
• Provide technical support to the production team and the wider engineering team.
• Fault find and repair PLCs.
• Carry out electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Assist with machine installations.
• Assist with general facilities maintenance.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities

• Must be electrically qualified with certificates.
• PLC fault finding experience, inputs and outputs.
• Must be able to work to engineering drawings including electrical and pneumatic.
• Must be able to identify faults and carry out machine repairs.
• Experienced working to a PPM schedule.
