Job description

Role:

Maintenance Engineer - either electrical, mechanical or multi-skilled - hiring manager is open to all of these areas as training will be provided

Hours:

Monday to Friday – 5:00am till 1:30pm

Salary:

£38,000 to £40,000 per annum plus benefits and training opportunities

Location:

Commutable from Stockport, Macclesfield, Warrington, Northwich, Middlewich, Knutsford and surrounding areas

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work within a global company at one of their brand new and small factories. You will be working with brand new machinery in a varied role within a small team. The company offers opportunities for career progression, up-skilling, and further qualifications through internal and external training platforms including electrical, mechanical, multi-skilled, leadership, and more.

The role involves working in a multi-skilled environment. The hiring manager is open to candidates from either discipline who are willing to learn and take on training opportunities. Applications are encouraged from Mechanical Fitters/Engineers, Electrical/Electrician Maintenance Engineers, and Multi Skilled Engineers.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Engineers will perform both electro-mechanical maintenance across the factory. You are encouraged and supported to develop your weaker side, whether mechanical or electrical. You will benefit from working in a modern, clean, and brand new factory environment, backed by a large company with a history of investing in their engineers and offering progression opportunities.

Requirements

• Maintenance or Service background in a similar environment, such as industrial, manufacturing, production, or automated systems.
• Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold an engineering qualification.
• Experience with motors, sensors, autoclaves, belts, bearings, chains, gearboxes, pumps, boilers, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, 3-phase systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.
• Good fault-finding skills.
• Friendly and adaptable working attitude.
• Keenness to learn, settle, and build a bright future by contributing to a new factory's development.
