Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Electrician with experience in industrial / manufacturing environments and familiarity with three-phase equipment, inverters / servo drives, PLCs, and industrial machinery is required for a permanent position (M-F Days) at a manufacturing company in the Knutsford / Altrincham area. Salary ranges from £35,000 to £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience) plus benefits. The role involves working approximately 35 hours/week, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm, with potential for flexi-time.

The Package:

• Basic salary: £35,000 – £45,000 pa (dependent on experience)

The Role:

As the Maintenance Electrician, you will primarily handle breakdowns and fault finding on automated industrial machinery and three-phase electrical infrastructure (distribution boards, SWA cables, isolators, contactors). You will also maintain industrial machinery such as pumps, motors, and heaters.

Your responsibilities include:

• Soldering multi-pin plugs, connectors, and small circuits; repairing PCBs
• Designing and installing basic electrical and electronic circuits

The standard working hours are 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday, with potential for flexi-time.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be time-served, qualified to 18th Edition standards, and experienced in installing industrial three-phase equipment. You should also have experience with:

• Design and installation of electrical and electronic circuits
• Soldering multi-pin connectors and PCB repairs
• Fault finding on automated machinery and industrial infrastructure
• Industrial three-phase systems (distribution boards, SWA, isolators, contactors)
• Industrial machinery (pumps, motors, contactors, heaters)
• Electronics knowledge: digital and analogue, computer literacy (installing OS, repairing PCs, software updates and backups)
