Randstad Construction & Property is partnering with a fast-scaling manufacturing business to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an Electrical bias. The role involves joining a 24/7 maintenance team, reacting quickly to issues and working with production lines to identify improvements and high-level fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems.

The position operates on a Panama shift pattern, offers extensive benefits, and requires time-served experience in a manufacturing environment,

Formación

• Experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing/process environment.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring regulations and electrical drawings.
• Proven ability to fault-find and diagnose electrical/mechanical faults at high level.

Responsabilidades

• Operate machinery and equipment to required standards.
• Set up machinery for production operations.
• Periodically test machine safety features.
• Complete planned and preventative maintenance schedules with clear records.
• Log parts used and time taken to build an accurate plant history.
• Review maintenance routines to improve resource use.
• Record plant breakdowns and work requests to build history.
• Provide easy access to procedures, drawings, and manuals.
• Ensure all breakdowns are reported to failure mode level.

We are partnering with a fast-scaling business currently expanding its core engineering group and looking to appoint a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an Electrical bias. The main purpose of your role will involve working as part of the maintenance team reacting to and resolving day to day issues working closely with other departments and production lines to identify improvements high level fault finding on both electrical and mechanical applications. working a 24/7 rotating Panama shift pattern.

Overtime Day to day:

• operate machinery and equipment to the required standards,
• set up machinery in preparation for production operations
• periodically test the operation of machine safety features
• completing planned and preventative maintenance schedules ensuring the results are clearly recorded and validated
• completing routines & works orders including recording parts used and time taken to build an accurate plant history.
• review of maintenance routines to ensure best use of resources.
• storing and recording of maintenance routines.
• recording of plant breakdowns or work requests to build an accurate plant history.
• providing simple easy access to associated procedures, drawings and manuals.
• ensuring all breakdowns are reported and recorded to failure mode level You will need:

• previous experience with a manufacturing/process environment
• be flexible to work in all areas of the manufacturing facility
• be able to commit to the Panama rota as a desirable ...
