RIU Plaza London The Westminster is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to safeguard the hotel’s assets, facilities, and guest rooms. You will respond to technical issues quickly and drive preventive maintenance to uphold safety and operational excellence during this transition period.

A minimum of 2 years' experience in the hotel industry is required for this role. You will contribute to a dynamic, fast-paced team delivering exceptional service in a prestigious London location.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years' hotel industry experience.
• Experience in maintenance tasks and safety checks is preferred.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and respond to issues quickly.

Responsabilidades

• Perform basic maintenance tasks: painting, filling crevices, manual handling, lifting and floor plate access.
• Monitor RIU App and complete requested tasks promptly and professionally.
• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and record results.
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly safety checks and document findings.
• Troubleshoot and repair daily issues to ensure guest comfort and safety.
• Conduct HSE maintenance checks and uphold safety standards.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join RIU Plaza London The Westminster as a Maintenance Engineer. In this role, you will be ensuring the hotel’s physical assets, facilities, and guest rooms are maintained to the highest standards of safety and functionality. The role is vital for delivering a seamless guest experience by providing rapid response to technical issues and driving operational excellence through proactive preventive maintenance. You’ll leverage your expertise in maintenance to contribute to our commitment to excellence and innovation during this exciting transition period.

** A minimum of 2 years' experience in the hotel industry is required for this role.

What You’ll Do

• Perform basic tasks including painting and filling crevices, manual handling, heavy lifting, remove floor plates as and when necessary, clean facilities and managing maintenance repairs

• Monitoring of RIU App and perform the requested task in a timely and professional manner.

• Carry out PPM works and record it.

• Carry out all Daily, Weekly and Monthly Safety Check and record it.

• Troubleshoot and repair the daily issues

• HSE Responsibility, Carry out all Maintenance H&S checks
