Job summary

RIU Plaza London Victoria is seeking a part-time Health and Safety Officer to monitor the HACCP plan and ensure compliance with safety programs and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on implementing policies, conducting audits, and coordinating HACCP and SOPs within a busy hotel environment.

The position requires strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, effective internal training design, and meticulous documentation to keep audit-ready records across all departments.

  • Ability to design and deliver engaging internal training sessions.
  • High precision in documentation, ensuring audit-ready records.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of health and safety policies and procedures across all departments.
  • Conduct regular audits of departments to assess compliance with all the procedures.
  • Coordinate all HACCP food hygiene programs and SOPs.
  • Maintain procedures to reduce waste generation, increase recycling rates, and minimize environmental impact of hotel operations.
  • Provide comprehensive training programs for all staff to enhance awareness and compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene policies.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to joinRIU Plaza London Victoriaas aHealth and Safety Officer. The Health and Safety Officer monitors the HACCP Plan and maintains the safety programs, policy, reports as per regulatory requirements.
