Job summary

FRONTrunner Recruitment Ltd is seeking an air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance engineer to join an established contractor covering London and the surrounding M25 area.basic salary between 30k-40k, plus door-to-door travel pay, van, fuel card and phone.

The role involves planned maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment across hotels, bars, restaurants and care homes, with overtime and a call-out rota. Private healthcare is available after one year of service.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience on commercial HVAC systems, preferably both air conditioning and refrigeration.
• Ability to perform planned maintenance on diverse refrigeration and AC equipment.
• Engineers biased toward either conditioning or refrigeration will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide planned maintenance on commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
• Work on cold rooms, walk-in fridges/freezers, ice machines, cellar cooling, bottle fridges and related systems; include multi-split and VRF/VRVF equipment.
• Cover the London and M25 area.
• Work with hotels, bars, restaurants, commercial companies and care homes.

They cover across the London and home counties area providing service, maintenance, design and installation on various systems and are very active on energy consumption and how to reduce this for their clients. Due to expansion they are recruiting for a refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance engineer, you will be:

• Providing planned maintenance on commercial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
• Working on cold rooms, walk in fridges and freezers, ice machines, cellar cooling, bottles fridge and everything in between, also splits and multi splits, VRVF and VRF equipment
• Covering the London and M25 area
• Working with clients such as hotels, bars, restaurants and commercial companies and care homes

Skills needed to be an air conditioning and refrigeration maintenance engineer

• Living anywhere in or around the M25 / London area
• You need maintenance experience working on air conditioning and ideally refrigeration but they would take someone who was solely air conditioning
• They would look at engineers that are biased on either conditioning or refrigeration
• F Gas cert needed, IPAF and PASMA would be beneficial
