Job summary

ATA Recruitment are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a state-of-the-art, highly automated pharmaceutical facility in Croydon. The role offers an annual salary of £51,045 and involves electrical and mechanical fault finding on a range of automated machinery.

You will respond quickly to breakdowns, perform planned preventative maintenance and work with a proactive maintenance mindset. Benefits include ongoing training, private healthcare and a 6% pension contribution.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised engineering qualification.
• Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Have experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (FMCG experience desirable).
• Demonstrate strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills, with a focus on safe and efficient working practices.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns across the site

The Company

ATA Recruitment are working with a leading system integrator within a pharmaceutical industry to recruit for an exciting opportunity at a state-of-the-art, highly automated facility in Croydon. This is am established key site, operational for just a handful of years, following a big investment in cutting-edge machinery and technology to support high-volume, high-precision.

They are now looking to add a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to their growing team. This role is ideal for someone confident in both electrical and mechanical fault finding, with a proactive approach to planned preventative maintenance (PPM).

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will:

• Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns across the site
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of automated machinery
• Perform mechanical maintenance including work on bearings, rollers, belts, gearboxes, shafts, and pulleys
• Undertake electrical fault finding and maintenance on contactors, relays, and three-phase motors, including panel work
