Job summary

RecruitME is recruiting for an established renewable energy business operating anaerobic digestion and biogas facilities across three sites in East Yorkshire.

The role offers a £45,000 salary, a 42-hour working week and a 1-in-4 on-call rota. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, fix breakdowns and drive reliability improvements across the three AD sites.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Engineering Maintenance with electrical or mechanical bias.
• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Technician.
• Strong industrial maintenance, breakdown repair and fault-finding skills.
• Experience in AD, biogas, wastewater or similar industrial environments.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of PPM and maintenance management systems.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to cover multi-site call-outs.
• Experience with SCADA, Shire CMMS, AutoCAD; IOSH/NEBOSH is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on industrial machinery and process equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and respond to breakdowns.
• Improve plant reliability through root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Monitor plant performance using SCADA systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS.
• Support equipment installations and engineering projects.
• Manage critical spares and supervise contractors, including permit-to-work procedures.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Renewable Energy

Are you an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a varied role across three AD and biogas sites in East Yorkshire? Earn £45,000, working 42 hours per week, with a 1-in-4 call-out rota.

You’ll carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance, resolve breakdowns and improve plant reliability across three sites.

What we’re looking for

• NVQ Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering Maintenance, with an electrical or mechanical bias.
• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician.
• Strong industrial maintenance, breakdown repair and fault-finding skills.
• Experience within AD, biogas, wastewater treatment or similar industrial process environments.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of PPM and maintenance management systems.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to cover multiple sites and join the call-out rota.
• Experience with SCADA, Shire CMMS, AutoCAD, IOSH or NEBOSH would be advantageous.
