Job summary

RecruitME has an exciting opening for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer across three AD/biogas sites in East Yorkshire. The role is permanent and full-time, offering a £45,000 salary and a 42-hour working week with a 1-in-4 call-out rota.

You’ll perform electrical and mechanical maintenance, diagnose faults, and drive improvements to plant reliability using SCADA and CMMS systems. The position provides hands-on engineering across multiple sites and opportunities to develop specialist AD and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Extended Diploma in Engineering Maintenance, electrical or mechanical bias.
• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician.
• Strong industrial maintenance, breakdown repair and fault-finding skills.
• Experience within AD, biogas, wastewater treatment or similar industrial process environments.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of PPM and maintenance management systems.
• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to cover multiple sites and join the call-out rota.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on industrial machinery and process equipment.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and respond to breakdowns.
• Improve plant reliability through root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Monitor plant performance using SCADA systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS.
• Support equipment installations and engineering projects.
• Manage critical spares and supervise contractors, including permit-to-work procedures.
• Maintain safe working practices and follow health and safety procedures.
