Job summary

Williams Manufacturing is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a permanent night shift, working on a variety of production machinery including CNC machinery, thermal, electric and steam presses. The role combines reactive maintenance with future involvement in implementing a planned maintenance program.

Ideal candidates will have both mechanical and electrical skills, 17th Edition or equivalent, and prior experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience is required.
• 17th Edition qualification or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment is essential.
• Ability to work on night shifts and on-site production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance on a range of production machinery.
• React to breakdowns and contribute to a planned maintenance schedule.
• Support installation, upgrades and CI projects where required.
• Work within H&S guidelines and maintain safe operating conditions.

ARE YOU A MAINTENANCE ENGINEER OR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN WITH BOTH MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL SKILLS?

Maintenance Engineer role available within a well established and successful manufacturer who have experience significant growth and investment in recent years. They offer a varied role within a good team environment.

The role would suit multi skilled maintenance engineers or maintenance technicians. Engineers will ideally have both electrical and mechanical skills. Engineers can transfer from ANY industrial or manufacturing environment. Electrically, you will ideally have a 17th Edition or equivalent as a minimum.

This is a brand new role due to growth on site. You will undertake a permanent night shift and work alongside one other maintenance technician/engineer. You will work on a wide range of production and process machinery from CNC machinery through to thermal, electric and steam presses. The role will initially be mostly reactive maintenance, with plans in place to introduce a robust pre-planned maintenance plan, which you will have involvement in. You will carry out a good mixture of both mechanical and electrical maintenance on site. As part of your role, you will be responsible for carrying out all task to strict H&S guidelines.
