Job summary

Executive Network Group is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for a permanent days role in Gloucestershire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems, with hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing manufacturing plant and machinery.

You will read schematics, work with PLC controls, and contribute to continuous improvement while ensuring safety and minimal disruption to production. Excellent communication in English is essential.

• Experience in maintenance engineering within manufacturing.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance of equipment.
• Installation and continuous improvement of plant, machinery, utilities, building and facilities.
• Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions.
• Assist with machinery controls, programming and PLC related requirements.
• Undertake engineering and site projects.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues before they escape.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs performed.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems, demonstrating the ability to maintain and repair equipment efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the capability to work independently or as part of a team. The Maintenance Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and systems, contributing to overall productivity and safety within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

7-45am - 4.45pm Mon - Thurs and 7.45am-12.30pm on a Friday.
