Working as part of a highly skilled maintenance team you will manage your time to drive team performance in a busy production environment. Ensuring production targets are achieved with minimal plant downtime, whilst striving for improvements, both as a team and personally.

Partner with the best

Working in a maintenance environment and reporting to the Plant Maintenance Team Leader. You will provide a multi-skilled technical service with the minimum of supervision to all departments including cleanroom environments. Working on a variety of technical equipment, and services covering breakdown repairs, planned maintenance and installation. You will be part of a team and will have good communication skills. The successful applicant must be fully committed to working safely and to accepting responsibility for the safety of fellow team members.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  1. Maintaining the facility infrastructure and manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, vacuum, pneumatic, hydraulic, and F-Gas systems
  2. Ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum through planned preventative maintenance and break fix repairs
  3. Working to maintain health & safety, quality, and cleanliness standards in line with company safe systems of work including Permit to Work
  4. Providing a professional service and represent the department in a way that promotes a professional working relationship
  5. Evaluating machine and maintenance performance, driving continual improvement of the maintenance activities
  6. Ensuring that maintenance records are updated and completed accurately
Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you must have:
  1. Completed a timed served apprenticeship in an engineering subject, accredited to level 3 or 4 in mechanical, electrical or systems engineering
  2. A previous background in a maintenance environment is essential - including practical maintenance experience
  3. Fluency in English, holding a UK passport/work permit and not requiring sponsorship in the future.
  4. A valid full UK driving license to enable travel as/when required
  5. Good interpersonal and communication skills with flexibility to business requirements either working as part of a team or individually
Desired characteristics include:
  1. Experience with vacuum systems, Electron Beam/laser welders and PLC's would be advantageous
  2. Experience in a controlled/cleanroom production environment would be advantageous

  1. Working Schedule - 39 hours per week, flexible during the hours of 07:00 - 17:00hrs
  2. Callout/Out of hours cover, 1 week in 5
