ARE YOU A MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER WITH EXPERIENCE IN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT?

Maintenance Engineer required for a well-established manufacturer that prides itself on quality. The company has significant growth and investment plans on site.

The role is suitable for mechanically biased maintenance engineers, including multi-skilled maintenance engineers, mechanical engineers, or mechanical fitters with experience in manufacturing. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is essential. Candidates should be apprentice trained or have equivalent qualifications.

Reporting to the maintenance supervisor, you will be responsible for reactive and pre-planned maintenance using a CMMS system. You will work on a variety of production and process machinery within a plastics manufacturing facility. Mechanical tasks will include working on hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, drives, rivets, belts, and pumps. Activities will also involve strip-down and rebuild tasks, continuous improvement projects, and facilities maintenance when necessary.
