TK Accelis Supply Chain Solutions UK is seeking a proactive Maintenance Lead for our Darton site. You will join a small maintenance team to service, maintain and repair Waterjet, router and other manufacturing equipment, ensuring reliability and minimal downtime.

The role combines mechanical and electrical maintenance, fault finding and plant support, with occasional out-of-hours work. You will manage one Maintenance Engineer and drive improvements in safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations in industrial settings.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, testing equipment and maintenance tools.
• Computer literacy with maintenance/operational systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on Waterjet, router and other production machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Assist with machine setup and operation when required.
• Accurately record maintenance activities and raise issues through company systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce downtime.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment safety and efficiency.
• Assist external contractors on site.
• Support general warehouse and facility maintenance as required.
• Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and company standards.
• Manage and develop one Maintenance Engineer

Description

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Maintenance Lead to join our team at our site based in Darton. Working as part of a small maintenance team, you will play a key role in servicing, maintaining and repairing Waterjet, router and other manufacturing machinery to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime.

This is a varied role combining mechanical and electrical maintenance, fault finding, machine servicing and general site support within a busy manufacturing environment. Occasional out-of-hours and weekend working may be required to support breakdowns and urgent operational requirements.

Hours: Days | Monday to Thursday 7:45am - 4:30pm | Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm

Key Responsibilities

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical qualification (or equivalent Machine Maintenance qualification).
• Experience reading and interpreting technical, mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations within an industrial environment.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, testing equipment and maintenance tools.
• Computer literate with experience using maintenance or operational systems.
• Self-motivated, reliable and capable of working independently.
• People management experience
