About the Team:

Working within a team of multi-skilled maintenance engineers to maximise machine uptime while minimising unplanned downtime. The department handles all areas of maintenance for the plant equipment and site, including preventative and reactive maintenance on CNC machines, assembly processes, and robotics. The role involves a double-day shift pattern; the site operates on a 24-hour basis with a permanent night shift.

What you can look forward to as Maintenance Engineer:

• Responding to breakdowns with extensive fault finding (both electrical and mechanical)
• Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance of CNC machinery and assembly equipment
• Supporting maintenance and factory-based improvement projects
• Completing service reports and updating internal systems via our CMMS system

Your Profile as Maintenance Engineer:

• Time-served apprenticeship in a relevant discipline (electrical/mechanical/mechatronics), ideally with an HNC qualification
• Electrical bias preferred but capable of working in both fields
• IT skills required: MS Office, email; CMMS experience preferred, especially in SAP
• PLC experience is advantageous
• Robotics experience is a plus, preferably with Kuka robotics
• Ability to embrace personal challenges and work collaboratively in a team environment based on openness and mutual respect
• Ability to engage and motivate others
