Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a days-based role in Preston. You'll work on modern equipment, performing planned and reactive maintenance with a view to reduce downtime and drive reliability.

The role offers progression, training, and benefits with a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 plus overtime (1.5x) and additional days. Commutable from Burnley, Blackburn, Leyland, Darwen and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Experience as a maintenance engineer in food manufacturing.
• Ability to perform planned and reactive maintenance.
• Willingness to train and progress within the company.
• Based in or willing to commute to Preston area.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
• Perform reactive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Are you an Maintenance Engineer with a food manufacturing background looking to join a leading manufacturer offering great benefits and plenty of progression opportunities?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a multi billion pound manufacturer within a stable industry where you will receive training from experienced Engineers.

The company are well established in their industry and have seen continued growth. They are now looking to recruit a number of Engineers.

You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance on the company's modern equipment while also learning to play a key role in the development and implementation of continuous improvement strategies across the manufacturing site.
