Job summary

ATA Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a Coventry-based automated production facility. The role focuses on maintaining conveyors, robots, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding equipment, presses and other automated equipment to keep performance high.

Candidates should have a maintenance background, with Level 3 electrical or mechanical qualifications. Training is provided, and there are pathways to leadership roles and continuous progression within a large global company.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience as Maintenance Engineer.
• Siemens S7 knowledge is advantageous.
• Must hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in electrical or mechanical.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all plant and equipment to maximise speed and reliability.
• Respond quickly to unplanned equipment breakdowns.
• Perform TPM tasks as scheduled.
• Address mechanical and electrical breakdowns efficiently.

The Company

Our client specialises in the manufacturing of a variety of products for the global market. They are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to work in their automated production facility in Coventry. There are many opportunities for progression for the right candidate and lots of opportunity for training.

The Maintenance Engineer will be required to perform full strip down and repair on the following: conveyors, robots, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding equipment, presses, and various other automated equipment.

• To maintain all plant and equipment so that it can run at its optimum speed and reliability level.
• Provide quick and effective response to all unplanned equipment breakdowns.
• Complete all allocated TPM in accordance with the appropriate schedules and specific requirements.
• Provide an effective and efficient response to all unplanned plant and equipment breakdowns, both mechanical and electrical.

The Candidate

To be successful in your application you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:

• Must have previous experience working as Maintenance Engineer. Knowledge of Siemens S7 would be advantageous.
• Must have a recognised electrical or mechanical Level 3 qualification
