Job description

Job Title – Maintenance Engineer

Shifts – Monday – Friday, Double Days (rotating shifts 06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00)

The Company

Our client specialises in manufacturing a variety of products for the global automotive market. They are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to work in their automated production facility in Coventry. Due to regular expansion, including a £5 million expansion last year, there are many opportunities for progression and training for the right candidate.

Role Responsibilities
  • Perform full strip downs and repairs on conveyors, robots, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding equipment, presses, and other automated equipment
  • Maintain all plant and equipment to ensure optimal speed and reliability
  • Respond quickly and effectively to unplanned equipment breakdowns
  • Complete all allocated TPM tasks according to schedules and requirements
  • Provide efficient responses to mechanical and electrical breakdowns
Candidate Requirements

To succeed, you should have:

  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer; knowledge of Siemens S7 is advantageous
  • A recognised electrical or mechanical Level 3 qualification
