Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer in the East Yorkshire area. You will maintain, repair and improve production equipment to maximise uptime and efficiency within a skilled engineering team.

The role requires an electrically biased focus with strong fault-finding skills, knowledge of motors/drives and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Training and long-term career prospects are offered.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering (minimum requirement).
• Experience in maintenance within manufacturing, production or industrial environments.
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Knowledge of electrical motors, drives and pneumatic systems.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Commitment to safe working practices and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) across site.
• Diagnose faults and repair electrical and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Install, maintain and improve plant machinery and production systems.
• Use testing and diagnostic equipment to identify issues quickly.
• Support continuous improvement projects to enhance reliability.
• Minimise downtime and help meet production targets.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, quality and housekeeping.

Location: Broomfleet, East Yorkshire

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights)

Salary: A GBP 52,000 : A GBP 54,000 (DOE)

The Role

As an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer, youll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving a range of production and plant equipment, ensuring maximum uptime and operational efficiency.
