Job summary

Hunter Selection Ltd in Bridgwater is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join a progressive manufacturing company. The role operates on a 4 on 4 off day/night shift pattern and offers strong long-term career progression in a first-class environment.

You will provide frontline maintenance support to the shift team, keep machinery at target output, dismantle and re-assemble production equipment, and carry out electrical, instrumentation and mechanical maintenance with regular PPM and improvements.

Qualifications

• Multi skilled background with electrical bias.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement mentality.
• Must have an ONC/HNC apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Provide front line maintenance support to the shift operations team.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Manufacturing experience is preferred
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices & continuous improvement mentality
• Must have a recognised apprenticeship to ONC/HNC
