Job summary

Apex Appoint is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a busy industrial site in Nottingham. The role is permanent, Monday to Friday day-based, focusing on planned and reactive maintenance across production and processing equipment.

The candidate will perform preventative maintenance, fault finding on mechanical and electrical systems, and support improvements while maintaining conveyors, pumps and drive systems. Overtime and Saturday work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, recycling, heavy industry, FMCG or similar production environment.
• Previous maintenance engineering experience.
• Strong mechanical or electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience maintaining industrial machinery.
• A relevant engineering qualification.
• A practical, hands-on approach.
• The ability to work independently and as part of an engineering team.

Responsibilities

The person

• £35,000+ basic salary
