Rodericks Dental Partners Group is seeking a Field Based Property Maintenance Engineer to cover the Midlands region, including Birmingham, with travel across the estate of dental practices. You will perform mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks across our sites, requiring a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel with overnight stays as needed.

The role emphasizes proactive and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and installation/commissioning of equipment.

Property Maintenance Engineer Location: Field Based covering - Midlands Region, including Birmingham, Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Property Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance tasks across various engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and general repairs & maintenance, across our estate of dental practices. This role will include daily travelling and occasional overnight stays, you must have a full & clean UK driving licence.

Key Responsibilities

Preventative Maintenance

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on plant and machinery.
• Identify and rectify potential issues before they escape.
• Implement a proactive maintenance schedule to minimize downtime.

Reactive Maintenance

• Respond promptly to breakdowns and equipment failures.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Efficiently repair and restore equipment to full operational capacity.

Fault Finding

• Use diagnostic tools and techniques to pinpoint the root cause of equipment malfunctions.
• Implement effective solutions to prevent recurring problems.

Installation and Commissioning

• Install new equipment and machinery.
• Configure and test systems to ensure optimal performance.

Compliance

• Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for improving maintenance processes and efficiency
• Propose innovative solutions to enhance equipment reliability.
