Job summary

Dreams is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to join the factory Maintenance team at their Oldbury site. The role is hands-on and varied, maintaining and repairing factory equipment, plant machinery and site facilities to keep production running smoothly.

Candidates should have hands-on maintenance experience in a factory or similar environment, with strong mechanical skills and basic electrical fault-finding.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in factory, production, warehouse or engineering environment is essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with basic electrical fault-finding is desirable.
• Experience with conveyors, hydraulic equipment or plant machinery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance, repairs and improvements across the factory and site.
• Support maintenance of static plant machinery and production equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns to reduce downtime and complete planned maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose basic mechanical and electrical faults and assist with installations or minor modifications.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and work safely to maintain a clean factory environment.

Here`s a snap shot of what you'll be doing day to day -We are looking for a General Maintenance Technician to join our factory Maintenance team and support the smooth running of our production site. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same.
