Job summary

Dreams Limited is hiring a Warehouse Operative in Halifax to join our busy distribution team. You will receive, check and organise deliveries, help load and unload vehicles and move stock around the depot to keep our warehouse running smoothly.

We value a friendly, hands-on approach, with good communication and the ability to stay calm under pressure. The role requires a full UK driving licence and flexibility to work weekends, with a competitive hourly rate plus a monthly bonus and staff

Qualifications

• Friendly, positive and ready to play a part in a supportive team.
• Comfortable with a hands-on, physical role that includes regular heavy lifting.
• Organised, reliable and able to stay calm when things do not go to plan.
• A clear communicator who builds great relationships with colleagues.
• Willing to learn, follow instructions and develop warehouse knowledge.
• Flexible with working hours, including weekends.
• A full UK driving licence holder, as moving delivery vehicles within the depot is part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods into the warehouse and check deliveries accurately against our systems and paperwork.
• Load and unload vehicles, handling mattresses, bed frames and sofa beds safely and with care.
• Move Dreams delivery vehicles around the depot when required.
• Organise and prioritise the workload to keep the warehouse running smoothly.
• Work as part of the team to achieve daily targets and maintain high operational standards.
