You’ll play a hands-on role in keeping our production lines running smoothly and safely while learning about preventative maintenance and creative problem-solving within a fast-paced nutraceutical environment.

The role naturally leans towards mechanical engineering, although you will also be exposed to the fields of electrical/electronic engineering.

Who are we?

The Oxford Health Company is an award-winning contract manufacturing business specialising in the food supplement market. Since our incorporation in 2013, we’ve been recognised as one of the Times Top 100 Fastest-Growing Companies in 2023, with an impressive 58% average annual growth over the past three years. Our commitment to excellence has earned us numerous industry-specific accolades, including recent 2024 wins at the Oxfordshire Business Awards in both the Large Business and Green Award categories.

We are a dynamic, entrepreneurial team driven by a mission to become the UK’s leading Food Supplement Manufacturer, both in turnover and service quality. Our success is built on offering expert service and the industry's shortest lead times to new and medium-sized brands with high-value propositions.

Our headquarters and manufacturing facility are located in Bicester, with a second storage warehouse nearby. Since fitting out our state-of-the-art clean rooms and manufacturing facility in 2019, we have continued to invest in our infrastructure to better serve our customers and enhance operational efficiency.

What will you do?

  • Assist with planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of machinery, including blending, filling, encapsulation, and packaging equipment.

  • Support breakdown diagnostics and assist in effective fault finding and repairs, identifying 100 year fixes where possible.

  • Work with Senior Engineers to propose and implement engineering solutions that improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

  • Help monitor machine performance and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and assist with documentation of processes.

  • Learn and apply relevant health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment at all times.

  • Attend and successfully complete required off-site apprenticeship training and qualifications.

What We’re Looking For

  • Passionate and experienced within Mechanical/Maintenance engineering.

  • Solution Oriented, curious and eager to learn.

  • Able to work effectively as part of a team and take direction from experienced engineers.

  • Strong attention to detail and committed to health and safety standards.

Why Join Us?

Located in Oxfordshire, you'll be working in a cutting edge facility designed for excellence.
  • Rewarding pay structure
You will receive a competitive salary, pension and healthcare benefits designed to reward and support you.
  • Seamless onboarding experience
With expert guidance, you’ll receive full support from day one, ensuring a smooth and successful start.
  • Grow Professionally & Personally
Tailored development plans to support your growth and career progression
