Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Ltd is recruiting an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a static role based in Dumfries. This role offers a long-term temporary opportunity with a 35-hour week, focusing on both planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical repairs.

You will maintain electrical systems, perform inspections, fault-find, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance, while keeping accurate maintenance records and adhering to site procedures.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition electrical qualification required.
• Experience in both planned and reactive maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and manage day-to-day tasks.
• strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance.
• Must have or be willing to obtain Level 1 & 2 Disclosure.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Responding to reactive faults, fault-finding and repairs.
• Diagnosing electrical faults and remedial works.
• Ensuring safety, compliance and operational systems.
• Completing maintenance records and site documentation.
• Adhering to health and safety procedures and site rules.
