Blueprint Recruitment Solutions Ltd seeks a Maintenance Engineer/Electrician for a temporary position in the Dumfries area. The role supports the Estates Management team with repairs and maintenance across SP&N and TP&N systems, including small power, lighting, testing, and inspections.

You may be required to work on-call and travel to other sites, with the expectation to attend your home establishment within 60 minutes of call-out.

Formación

• Have completed an recognised apprenticeship and hold an electrical qualification to SVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Current electrical installations qualification (City and Guilds 2382 or BS7671 18th Edition).
• Experience maintaining electrical systems in industrial/commercial environments.
• Awareness of other basic maintenance tasks and willingness to develop skills.
• Experience in inspection and testing of electrical installations.
• Self-motivated with decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and method statements.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out reactive and planned electrical maintenance and minor works.
• Support estates management in repairs for SP&N and TP&N systems.
• Attend on-call rota for emergency repairs and travel to sites as needed.
• Monitor electrical control systems for optimum performance.
• Provide technical support to the Technical Manager and staff.
• Prepare timely condition reports and order parts with administration.
