Job summary

CBW Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a circa 6-month temporary assignment at a static Aberdeen City Centre site. You’ll perform planned and reactive maintenance across the site, delivering reliable electrical services with minimal supervision.

The role requires NVQ3 in Electrical Installation, 18th Edition BS 7671, and proven fault-finding in commercial/industrial environments. ECS/CSCS card is preferred, with immediate start and a focus on safety and accurate records.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification
• Proven maintenance and fault-finding experience in commercial/industrial environments
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Strong health and safety knowledge
• ECS/CSCS card preferred

Responsibilities

Maintenance Electrician- Static - Aberdeen City Centre CIS 22-24Ph

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team on a temporary basis for circa 6 months, carrying out a variety of planned and reactive maintenance tasks across a static site.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on site.
• Complete a range of small electrical works and general jobbing tasks.
• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with current electrical regulations.
• Accurately complete job sheets and maintenance records.
• Liaise professionally with the site team and report any issues or additional works identified.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing) desirable but not essential.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification.
• Proven experience in maintenance and fault finding within commercial or industrial environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• ECS/CSCS card preferred.

Contract Details

• Contract circa 6 months
• Static site location (no travel between sites required).

• Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience).
