Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our FM team at a high-security facility in Morpeth. You will perform planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and fault-finding across a range of electrical systems, with 37.5-hour weeks, Monday to Friday, and a 1 in 5 on-call rota.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, completion of an electrician apprenticeship, IEE 18th Edition, and 5+ years FM or industrial experience, plus eligibility for UK

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognised electrician apprenticeship.
• Thorough understanding of IEE 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• 5+ years FM/industrial experience or within a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Planned Maintenance: Execute routine PPM on electrical equipment and lighting systems.
• Fault-Finding & Repairs: Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations.
• Site Support: Respond to emergencies and support site operations.
• On-Call Cover: Participate in a 1-in-5 on-call rota.
