Calibre Search is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a prestigious static site in Cramlington. The role focuses on planned and reactive electrical maintenance within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment on a Monday–Friday days pattern.

You'll work as part of a professional engineering team, ensuring safety, compliance and continuous operation across electrical and mechanical plant. Excellent earning potential and career progression are available.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Part 1 & 2 OR Level 2/3 Electrical qualification required.
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations required.
• Experience in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance preferred.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills essential.
• Professional approach with excellent customer and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance within agreed timescales.
• Complete electrical maintenance, repairs and minor works to a high standard.
• Support other engineers and technicians with maintenance activities.
• Prioritise and complete maintenance tasks efficiently and professionally.
• Ensure tools, equipment and documentation are accurate and up-to-date.
• Represent the site with client and company colleagues to maintain high standards.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join one of the world's leading Facilities Management companies, working on a prestigious and high-profile static site in Cramlington.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled electrician looking for a stable Monday-Friday days role, with excellent earning potential, career progression and a comprehensive benefits package.

The Role

Working as part of a professional engineering team within a large pharmaceutical manufacturing site, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance and general building maintenance across a range of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment. You'll play an important role in ensuring the site remains safe, compliant and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance within agreed timescales.
• Complete electrical maintenance, repairs and minor works to a high standard.
• Support other engineers and technicians with both major and minor maintenance activities.
• Prioritise and complete maintenance tasks efficiently and professionally.
• Ensure all required tools and equipment are available, serviceable and fit for purpose.
• Accurately complete all relevant maintenance documentation and paperwork.
• Provide support across other sites within the cluster when required.
• Work closely with both client and company colleagues to maintain high standards of quality and service.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with agreed KPIs, health & safety requirements and company procedures.
• Keep the Mercury CAFM system fully updated with accurate, live job information.
• Represent the company professionally and build strong working relationships with colleagues and the client.
