This acquisition secures our role as a key supplier for the next generation of UK defence programmes. Over the next 10 years, our plant and equipment will be modernized, creating new opportunities for our business and colleagues.

Located on a 64-acre site in the heart of Sheffield, we are seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our maintenance team. The role involves repairing and performing planned maintenance on main forging presses.

Role Responsibilities

1. Maintain all plant equipment, including but not limited to:

• DC & AC Cranes
• Hydraulic presses and equipment
• Open-die forge presses with manipulators
• Radial forging machines

Install new equipment

Work at heights safely

Follow safe systems of work at all times

Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to plan maintenance activities

About You

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and experience:

• Fully trained electrician
• Qualified to 17th edition regulations and standards
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation
• Fault-finding skills on both D.C. and A.C controls
• Experience with predictive and planned maintenance techniques
• Experience working with heavy industrial equipment (e.g., overhead cranes, AC, DC)
• Willing and able to work shifts

Days and Hours of Work

Average of 40 hours per week, following a continental shift pattern: 06:00 – 18:00 and 18:00 – 06:00.
