• Mon to Fri on a single site in central Birmingham, on the below hours:
• Week 1: 7AM - 3PM
• Week 2: 1PM - 10:00PM
• Week 3: 8AM - 5PM
• 1 week in 6 call out paying £1350 standby per annum, and 4 hours work paid if called
• *Call out covers the local region beyond the single site this role is nominally based at*

Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to recruit a qualified Electrician to join our Maintenance team aligned against the client's corporate banking facility in central Birmingham.

Working with other engineers, you will complete planned and reactive electrical maintenance across the site covering Low and High Voltage Distribution systems, final circuits, standby generators, load shedding equipment, UPS systems, batteries, Earthing and lighting protection, emergency lighting, and security lighting.

There will be some managing UPS load bank testing of the UPS batteries.

*We are happy to work with a developed Electrician looking to become more familiar with high voltage.*

There will also be some small mechanical maintenance and fabric jobs, from which you will receive jobs delivered to your tablet system, allowing you to work with good autonomy to manage and deliver your workload.

There is excellent training available, and this is a modern, recently refurbished building with brand new equipment.

Actions will include:

• Responsibility for electrical PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames to exceed customer expectations.
• Responsibility for other building services maintenance including fabric, HVAC, mechanical, and related tasks.
• Providing callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
• Undertaking contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring contractors and their workmanship to meet relevant standards, and issuing Permits to Work.
• Ensuring all electrical equipment operates to specified performance criteria.
• Evaluating performance and ensuring proper servicing and maintenance of contracted equipment.
• Maintaining administration requirements and accurate records.

We need from you:

• Electrical qualifications and some working experience (either in installation or maintenance).
