Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our facilities management team in the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will be a Fully Qualified 18th Edition Electrician with experience in reactive maintenance across commercial and industrial properties.

This role requires an enhanced national security clearance before commencing employment, a valid CSCS card, and a willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Craft qualification such as a recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Current wiring regulations qualification (18th Edition).
• Valid Grade card/CSCS Card or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical reactive maintenance on commercial / industrial properties.
• Carry out fault finding and fault rectification.
• Completing certification / documents in a timely manner.

About The Role

We are looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join our team, the ideal candidate would be a Fully Qualified 18 th Edition Electrician with experience in Reactive Electrical Maintenance Works.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical reactive maintenance on commercial / industrial properties.
• Carry out fault finding and fault rectification.
• Completing certification / documents in a timely manner.

Skills & Knowledge

• Time-served Electrician
• Experience in reactive maintenance works on commercial properties (essential)
• PASMA (Preferred but not essential)
• IPAF (Preferred but not essential)
• Experience using Microsoft Office
• Full UK Driving License is desirable

Essential Qualifications

• A craft qualification such as a recognised electrical apprenticeship such as or equivalent to City & Guilds 2350 NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Engineering + AM2
• The current wiring regulations qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2381-18 Level 3 Award (18 th Edition)
• Valid and in date Grade card/CSCS Card or equivalent qualification.

Desirable Qualifications

• An Inspection & Testing qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations
