Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate is a Fully Qualified 18th Edition Electrician with experience in reactive electrical maintenance works.

The role involves reactive maintenance on commercial properties, fault finding, and timely certification. You will report via our company mobile app and may need a valid CSCS card and a full UK driving license.

Qualifications

• Craft qualification such as recognised electrical apprenticeship (City & Guilds 2350 NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Engineering + AM2).
• 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification (City & Guilds 2381-18 Level 3 Award).
• Valid in-date Grade card/CSCS Card or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical reactive maintenance on commercial/industrial properties.
• Carry out fault finding and fault rectification.
• Complete certification/documents in a timely manner.
• Job reporting via company mobile App.

About The Role:

Skills & Knowledge:

• Time-served Electrician
• Experience in reactive maintenance works on commercial properties (essential)
• PASMA (Preferred but not essential)
• IPAF (Preferred but not essential)
• Experience using Microsoft Office
• Full UK Driving License is desirable

Essential Qualifications:

• A craft qualification such as a recognised electrical apprenticeship such as or equivalent to City & Guilds 2350 NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation Engineering + AM2
• The current wiring regulations qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2381-18 Level 3 Award (18th Edition)

Desirable Qualifications:

• An Inspection & Testing qualification such as or equal to City & Guilds 2391-52 Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations
