Job summary

Brainkind in Liverpool is seeking a Maintenance Worker/Driver to manage maintenance and upkeep of Eastfields site, ensuring smooth operation of building services. The role includes routine checks, minor refurbishment, and securing perimeter features, with a focus on safety and reliability.

You will need a driving license; hours 28 per week; salary £13.04 per hour rising to £14.04 with bank holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• A driving license is essential.
• Awareness/knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
• Knowledge of COSHH.

Responsibilities

• To conduct routine maintenance and monitoring checks.
• To undertake minor refurbishment and redecoration to areas of the service as requested.
• To ensure that the security features of the service are maintained, including perimeter fencing, lighting, CCTV and other features where fitted.
• To carry out basic repairs internally and externally.
