School Maintenance Caretaker

Position Overview

Are you an experienced Maintenance Professional looking to transition into the Education sector?

We are currently recruiting Maintenance professionals for ongoing TEMPORARY positions supporting site teams in schools across the area. These roles involve day-to-day general maintenance and site work.

Details

• Full-time and part-time positions available throughout the school year.
• Potential for permanent contracts, though not guaranteed.
• Immediate availability and flexibility with working hours are required, including split shifts (e.g., 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.).

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and litter picking.
• Complete odd jobs delegated by the supervisor.
• Open and close school buildings.
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Set alarms.

Requirements

• Full registration with us, including providing right-to-work documents.
• Obtain an enhanced Child Workforce DBS, which we will process at a cost of £56.20 unless you already have one registered on the update service.
