School Maintenance Caretaker

Are you an experienced Maintenance Professional looking to transition into the Education sector?

We are currently recruiting Maintenance professionals for ongoing TEMPORARY positions, supporting site teams with daily general maintenance and site work in schools across the area.

Positions are available on a FULL-TIME and PART-TIME basis throughout the school year, with various durations. There may also be an opportunity to move to a PERMANENT contract within the schools, although this is not guaranteed.

You must be available to start immediately and be FLEXIBLE with working hours, as some schools require split shift patterns (e.g., 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.).

As a full-time temporary school caretaker, you will be expected to:

1. Carry out general maintenance and litter picking.
2. Complete odd jobs delegated by your supervisor.
3. Open and close the school building.
4. Work independently and as part of a team to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
5. Set alarms.

Additionally, you will need to fully register with us, providing the right to work documents and obtaining an enhanced Child Workforce DBS check, which we will process at a cost of £56.20 (unless you already have one registered on the update service). Please only apply if you are able to do this.
