Job summary

A leading care home provider in Bromley is seeking a part-time Maintenance Assistant to work weekends, ensuring a safe and well-presented environment for residents. The role includes supporting maintenance tasks, performing general repairs, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and appearance in the facility. Ideal candidates will have maintenance experience and a friendly demeanor. Offered at a pay rate of £14.40 per hour along with 33 days of annual leave pro rated.

Vacancy: Maintenance Assistant (Part-Time – Saturday & Sunday – 16hrs)

Pay rate: £14.40ph

Location: Bromley (Kent)

Our Client, a fantastic Care Home in Bromley is looking for a part-time Maintenance Assistant to work weekends to support the Head of Maintenance.

You will be responsible for
  • Supporting the Head of Maintenance to create a safe and well-presented environment for their residents and their families.
  • Ensuring the maintenance of the garden and exteriors is to the highest standard.
  • Undertaking daily tasks to ensure both resident bedrooms and communal areas are well maintained.
  • Undertaking general maintenance and repairs when required.
  • Ensuring accurate records of work undertaken are kept.
  • Undertaking other duties as required.
About you
  • You will be friendly and approachable and able to interact with both colleagues and residents.
  • You will take pride in maintaining the highest standards with the work you undertake.
  • You will have a good eye for detail.
  • You will have prior experience working in a general Maintenance role.
