Job summary

Away Resorts Ltd in Tattershall Lakes (Lincolnshire) is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep our holiday park in top condition. You’ll support the Maintenance Manager with essential repairs and upkeep across the site, from entrance signage to the back fence, on a permanent 40-hour week.

You will work with an experienced team, carry out checks, and ensure health and safety standards are met. A Full UK Driving Licence and basic DIY skills are required; prior park or hospitality maintenance

• Full UK Driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Essential maintenance and repair work across the site (e.g., taps, shelves, TV).
• Work with an experienced team and assist with unfamiliar tasks.
• Perform maintenance checks and repairs on changeover days; coordinate with other tradespeople.

We need someone who will keep our accommodation, and the holiday park, in tip-top condition and looking spectacular, repairing, maintaining, renewing, and improving everything from the entrance signage to the back fence.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our team of holiday heroes, you will help the Maintenance Manager to ensure everything is in good working order. Your work will include:

• Essential maintenance and repair work, such changing taps, fixing shelves and TV.
• Working as part of an experienced team who will assist and support you with tasks you may be unfamiliar with.
• Working to our high standards, exceeding customers’ expectations, and complying with Health and Safety legislation and company policies.
• Carrying out maintenance checks and repairs on changeover days, working with other tradespeople when necessary.
• Pretty much anything else that other people can’t do!

Guests and team will look to you to fix what’s broken and restore order, so you will need to be confident, friendly, and obliging in addition to your practical skills.

Skills, Experience, And Qualities You’ll Need.

We will train you, but you’ll need to have the following skills and experience to apply for this role:

• A basic understanding of Health & Safety at work
• Full UK Driving licence.
• Basic DIY skills
