Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in Stafford for a state-of-the-art automated factory. You will assist with electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding and planned preventative maintenance to maximise uptime and efficiency.

You will learn from engineers with the aim of progressing into a maintenance engineer role. The role offers a strong benefits package including pension, life insurance and gym access, with 4-on 4-off shifts days and nights, and overtime

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical and mechanical maintenance on automated production machinery.
• Conduct fault-finding and support planned preventative maintenance.
• Learn from senior engineers with aim to progress into a maintenance engineer role.

Maintenance Assistant

Salary: £40,000 + Overtime (£1,000–£2,000 on top) + Pension

Location: Stafford

Shifts: 4on 4off days and nights (2days 2nights 4 off)

You will be responsible for assisting with carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of fully automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency. The aim of the role is to learn as much as you can as quickly as you can from the engineers you are assisting, once you are fully trained and confident the aim is for you to move into a maintenance engineer role

• Maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.

Engineering Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.

Requirements for the Maintenance Assistant.

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
