Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd in Coalville is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on fully automated production machinery, with a strong emphasis on fault-finding and planned preventive maintenance.

You will work 4's and 5's shifts, days and nights, with a salary of £37,000 plus overtime (£1,000–£2,000 on top) and a pension. Excellent training and development opportunities are provided by a market-leading employer.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to modify PLC programmes.
• Hands-on experience with pre-planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced industrial factory.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment in the UK.
• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience with working on PLCs, ideally capable of fault-finding using inputs and outputs.
