An established industry player is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join their dedicated team at a prominent healthcare facility. This full-time role involves delivering high-quality maintenance services, ensuring compliance with operational standards, and enhancing the overall functionality of the hospital environment. Equans is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team at the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital (MMUH) on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £24,000 per annum and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
Assist the team in delivering a comprehensive service by undertaking routine and first line checks for both reactive and planned maintenance workstreams
Undertake a proactive role in carrying out first response to reactive jobs and complete tasks such as ventilation grille cleans, Light Cleans, unblocking of toilets, meter readings etc. in accordance with relevant standards and operational procedures and in compliance with legislation and guidance
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks to services across site on various aspects of the building services in accordance with the PPM programme and personal competence and training
Minimise penalty deductions by responding in a timely manner to all maintenance issues in accordance with the requirements of the Contract
Assist in carrying out installation work involved in minor upgrading and adaptation works
Assist in carrying out systematic fault finding in a logical and safe manner on malfunctioning equipment
On offer is a salary of £24,000 per annum and benefits package, which includes;
Previously worked within a maintenance environment
This role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential.
