Job summary

Malmaison in Manchester is recruiting a Maintenance Assistant to oversee the upkeep of our hotel facilities and lead the maintenance team. You will manage daily tasks, ensure safety, and meet guest expectations with a hands-on, detail‑oriented approach.

The role requires prior hotel maintenance experience, with useful knowledge of electrical systems and strong communication. A permanent contract with competitive benefits supports internal progression.

You will be required to complete the daily job list and preventative maintenance schedules with an eye for detail and a passion for fixing things! You must meet time deadlines, liaise with contractors and take responsibility for health and safety. You must be organised, an excellent communicator, and a hands-on individual who has excellent attention to detail. Experience of working in a maintenance department of a similar quality hotel is required and knowledge of electrics and health and safety are beneficial.
