Job summary

Malmaison Hotel combines F&B and Front Office in a busy environment. The Duty Manager will be a hands-on manager, working across departments to assist breakfast, checkout, and room checks with Housekeeping, ensuring smooth, guest‑focused operations.

You can progress toward Head of Department and ultimately DGM within Malmaison or Hotel Du Vin, supported by development courses, staff benefits, Wagestream pay access and a range of wellness and discount schemes.

Qualifications

• Hands-on management experience in a busy Food & Beverage Department.
• Experience in Guest Relations is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and multi-department coordination.

Working across multiple departments this Duty Manager role gives you the chance to work as part of the F&B and Front Office teams in our bustling hotel.

You will be a

hands on manager with experienceof working within a busy Food & Beverage Department. You will be looking for a role that will allow you to continue your development from Junior HoD to a Senior HoD role.

As Duty Manager within Malmaison you will be assisting in the smooth running of all Customer facing departments - from working alongside the breakfast team, dealing with a busy check out period through to checking bedrooms with the Housekeeping Manger.

Experiencein Guest Relations would be advantageous as would an interest in what is trending in the local area around the hotel.

If you are successful in your application of Duty Manager you could be expected to progress to a Head of Department role looking after a single department and then onto a DGM role within Malmaison or Hotel Du Vin.
